Clinical Effectiveness Support Unit (CESU)
was originally set up in 1996, with an all-Wales remit to support the Welsh Office
Clinical Effectiveness Initiative. Since that time CESU has enlarged its staff and
extended its remit to support improvements in the quality of healthcare in Wales
through the local implementation of clinical governance.
CESU is here to help individuals and organisations in the NHS and contractor
professions to improve the quality of healthcare across Wales. This is a service
funded by the National Assembly for Wales and free to use.
